Two-bathroom remodel in Pacific Beach

They called us again for the condo

We had previously remodeled the kitchen in these clients' Pacific Beach house. When they bought this condo, an investment property in the same neighborhood, they called us again to remodel and upgrade both bathrooms.

In both rooms we removed the old tile, vanity and fixtures. Each received new floor tile, a new vanity and toilet, four recessed lights, an exhaust fan, paint and baseboards. In the tub bathroom we also set a new tub, framed a niche and tiled the tub wall.

The other bathroom had a small stall shower with white square tile and a framed glass door. We reframed the shower to enlarge it, built in a double niche, hot-mopped a new shower pan for waterproofing and relocated the vanity plumbing.

The new shower has large blue onyx-look tile on the walls and a hexagon mosaic floor with a linear drain. Where the old stall had a single chrome head, there is now a brushed gold rain head and hand shower, with a matching faucet and vanity light.
