Home remodel in Carmel Valley
These Carmel Valley homeowners hired us for one bathroom after a bad experience with another contractor. They have since brought us back for the floors, the kitchen, a second bathroom, the banister and the pool.
When the kitchen, the bathrooms and the floors all need work, doing them one room at a time costs more and drags on for years. We plan the whole house together and build it on one contract and one schedule.
Each whole-home remodel is scoped and priced to the house.
Each room you remodel on its own means another permit, another setup and another round of dust. Planned together, the plumbing is rerouted once, the electrical is upgraded once, the flooring runs through without breaks, and the finishes match from room to room.

We price it room by room from a written scope, then add the work that ties the house together, like flooring, paint and electrical. These are the starting points for the main rooms.

Every project is scoped and quoted individually. City permits and fees are billed separately.
How the work is sequenced depends on the house and on how you’ll live in it while we work. Three of our whole-home projects went three different ways.
The kitchen, primary bath, wet bar, laundry room and half bath were remodeled as one project, with new floors, interior paint and lighting. Before the wood floors went down, we scraped a loose slip sheet off the slab.
The upstairs kitchen, living room and bathroom came first, in 2025. The homeowners brought us back for the first floor, with the primary bathroom, bedroom, closet and hallway, and it passed its final inspection in August 2026.
It began with a single bathroom, with every change put in writing before the work. The homeowners then asked us to redo the floors, then the kitchen, the hall bathroom and the banister.
Sometimes, if the work can be phased so part of the house stays usable. For kitchen plus multiple baths at once, most families move out for part of the project. We plan the phasing with you before the price is final.
It depends on scope. We give you a written schedule before work begins that covers design, permits and each phase of construction.
Yes. We design the project with 3D renderings, and we handle permits and inspections as your licensed contractor under CSLB #1078564. Design is priced on its own, in writing before it starts. The price depends on how many rooms we design, the size of the house and the level of design: a design for the look, or one that adds the blueprints and engineering the city needs to approve the work.
Send us a few details about the project and we’ll set up a visit to look at the space.
Free visit, no obligation. We call you within one business day.
