Primary bathroom remodel in Poway
A freestanding tub under the corner windows, a frameless glass shower in marble-look tile and a lit mirror.

The bathroom we took over
Another contractor had already started this bathroom when the homeowner called us. Dissatisfied with how the work was going, she ended her contract with him, and we took over.
His plan called for one large shower. We pointed out that the same space could fit a freestanding tub and a separate shower, and that is what we built. The tub sits under the corner windows, with the shower beside it.
We corrected some issues the first contractor had left. During demolition we also found that a shear wall had been cut. That wall helps brace the house in an earthquake, so we repaired it.
The shower is marble-look tile behind frameless glass, with a bench and two niches. The homeowner bought the vanity top herself, and its veining happens to line up with the wall tile. It sits on a white shaker vanity under a lit mirror.
We completed the bathroom in 2022. In 2026 she came back to us to design her kitchen and bar area.
