Pool and spa remodel in Carmel Valley
We were the general contractor for a pool and raised-spa remodel at a Carmel Valley home where we had already remodeled the inside: new waterline tile, a pebble finish, reset coping, lights and three scupper spouts.

After the house, the pool
These are the same Carmel Valley homeowners who first hired us for one bathroom. After the floors, the kitchen, the hall bathroom and the banister, they asked us to remodel the pool.
The pool still had its old white plaster and green waterline tile, and some of the plaster had come loose. We were the general contractor for the remodel. The old tile, the loose plaster and the old lights came out first.
They selected new waterline tile and a pebble finish, and new LED lights were installed. The scope then grew by two items: the loose coping around the pool was reset and regrouted, and three new scupper spouts went on the raised spa wall. As with every change inside the house, both went on a written change order.
Once the pebble finish was in, the pool was filled and started up again.
